Neurological Physiotherapy encompasses the treatment of a wide range of conditions affected by central or peripheral nervous system. Common conditions treated include Parkinson’s Disease, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis and Guillan Barre Syndrome. Physiotherapy can help with improvements in mobility, balance, strength and management of contractures or high tone. Due to the varied nature of these conditions, your Physiotherapist will do an in-depth assessment of your current abilities and limitations; then working closely with you to set out specific goals and how best to achieve them.
