Soft tissue techniques incorporate a wide range of techniques including SSTM’s (specific soft tissue mobilizations), Myofascial release, trigger point release and sports massage. These are used primarily to reduce pain and tension within a muscle, and assist in the recovery following injury. They also are often used to help break down scar tissue in tendons, ligaments and muscles, to optimize comfort and recovery of that tissue.
